The text compares rented area of 13.2 square metres per employee for New Work front-runners with 36.6 square metres for lower-score organisations.

The accompanying comparison uses the fifteen participants with the highest scores and the fifteen with the lowest. It also shows differences in reported productivity, cultural cohesion and how new ways of working are handled.

The finding is a starting point for an organisation-specific assessment. A smaller area is useful only when work, technology, management and room types support it.
